Unlike WinterClan's horrid weather, AutumnClan had it better. The snow was actually a heavy rain that had been pouring for days. Her pelt was beginning to "rot" and smelled horribly. The sorrel she-cat ducked underneath the old Twoleg house. She ducked inside to shake off her pelt and plop down on the old, mossy Twoleg bed. Why was it so rainy?Back in camp, Rooknose sat inside her den watching the rain fall through the leaf door she had hanging up. The medicine cat had grown weary in her time as medicine cat. Watching her family and friends all die. She had surprisingly grown bitter and had begun to hate her job.
Rosepetal - however - had been napping all day. Now was the time she finally decided to get up and make something of the day. The molly headed out of the warriors den her gaze going to the Clan's deputy. Legit Boss 04:47, December 1, 2016 (UTC)
Otterdance lazily roll in the warriors den, huffing to himself. He'd almost prefer the snow...the heavy downfalls were cold and chilled the bone. Not only that, but they soaked the pelts of the warriors, and then what happened? That's right, they'd feel even more cold. Perfect white cough weather.Silverstar 22:45, December 3, 2016 (UTC)
The mist and fog continued to cover AutumnClan's territory making it slightly hard for the former WinterClan molly to push her way deeper. "Hey!" The loud voice of a cat called to her. Rosepetal, an AutumnClan warrior stared at the tortoiseshell and white molly. "What're you doing on our territory?" She snapped, eyes narrowed at the loner.
"Just looking for AutumnClan's camp, I'd like to join." She said smoothly. Rosepetal narrowed her eyes. "Your of WinterClan.." she stated. "Yes, I know. I said I want to join AutumnClan, Antstar isn't a very good leader." The tortoiseshell warrior said speaking coldly of the leader that had banished her. Otterdance kept his blue optics on the dreary outdoors, sighing to himself. Hopefully, the rain would let up at some point....he was itching for a good hunt, and one that didn't involve getting soaked in the cold.Silverstar 17:59, December 4, 2016 (UTC)
Blossombreeze smiled. "You could just take me to your leader so I can talk to her. Sorrelstar, right?" Rosepetal gave a soft growl. "Sure whatever," she said. The ginger and white tabby warrior led the loner to the Autumnclan camp. Once inside, Rosepetal passed Otterdance, whom Blossombreeze stared at for a second. He had very nice qualities to him. Maybe she'd get lucky this time? I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 18:11, December 4, 2016 (UTC)
Otterdance flattened his ears as the outsider eyed him as she passed. He let out a soft warning growl as she did so: she stunk of WinterClan. WinterClan cats were always bad news...that picky little Clan was swarmed by poor-tempered cats who'd pick a fight with just about anyone. AutumnClan never liked any trouble, and Otterdance liked how his Clan was like that.Silverstar 02:59, December 5, 2016 (UTC)
Blossombreeze feigned her fear towards the tom, maybe these cats were dominant? Her yellow gaze flickered past him towards the leader and medicine cat's den. A tortoiseshell and white tabby she-cat and black-based brown tabby she-cat were talking. As Blossombreeze and Rosepetal grew closer, Blossombreeze felt the the scorned looks of the whole AutumnClan camp on her.
These cats seemed more hostile than her former Clan, it also made it worse that she still stank of WinterClan. Sorrelstar turned when Rosepetal cleared her throat only to subtly. "Rosepetal," the tabby and white leader greeted not yet noticing their "visitor".
"Sorrelstar," the pale cream molly said in return. "This cat, Blossombreeze or whatever, wants to join. I told her she'd have to speak to you first." The warrior told he leader. Rooknose wathced the newcomer with reverence. She stank of trouble, and StarClan knew it. Was this a test? The medicine cat thought.
"Well she's gonna have to prove herself worthy, I won't just let any old WinterClan cat into my Clan. Especially if she's trouble." The leader said, however she didn't know the half of it. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 11:55, December 5, 2016 (UTC)
Rowanshadow lie beside her brother, Spottedflame. Maybe I should go on a patrol of something... she thought, tilting her head thoughtfully. Spottedflame streched and lightly touched her nose with his tail. "You have your 'thoughtful' face. Are you planning something terrible?" he asked, interested. ~Patchfeather~ 02:49, December 6, 2016 (UTC)
Bumblefern watched as her older sister talked with the WinterClan cat. Her blue gaze on them the whole time, well before her gaze shifted to Spottedflame. The tabby warrior shrugged her shoulders before decided to take a nap.
Sorrelstar stood tall, despite her short, stocky size. Her words were harsh, true, but they were there to protect her Clan. The Clan in which she had sacrificed a lot to be leader of. The tabby leader raised a brow as Blossombreeze shrugged licking a paw. "So what's this deed I gotta do?" She asked, almost in a bored tone.
Deed? I think not. The leader thought harshly before speaking. "You need to prove that if your going to join my Clan you will be loyal only to AutumnClan." She said. "To do this you'll be kept as a sort of prisoner until proven worther as an AutumnClan warrior." She told her before waving her tail to Rosepetal, whom left to fix up the empty den AutumnClan used for prisoners. "Mothwhisker will take first watch tonight once the sun sets, then tomorrow if you can prove to him that your worthy and he can tell me so. You will be a member of my Clan and if you don't you'll remain as a prisoner." The leader told her with a tilt of her head. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 05:14, December 13, 2016 (UTC)
Rowanshadow shook her head. "No, not this time, Spottedflame," she said, whiskers twtiching fondly. "You'll have to cause some horrible thing on your own."
It had been almost a full day since Sorrelstar had given birth to five healthy kittens. The dark tortoiseshell was the runt, she had named her Dipperkit. The largest kitten had been a patched black and white tom, Swiftkit. The other three were quiet and asleep. She had yet to name them.
Rosepetal had been ordering patrols to help out Mothwhisker, her pale eyes darting about as she finally took a breath. She felt for him, being deputy must be hard. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 02:15, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Rowanshadow batted Spottedflame, smacking him out of his thoughts. "Don't really do anything stupid, Spot," she said, with a playful eye-roll. Meanwhile, one of Sorrelstar's kits, a brown tabby tom, snuggled close to his mother, not making a sound. -- Patch
Otterdance pointlessly sat around camp, unsure of what he should do. It also sounded like Sorrelstar had her kittens...yuck. He found it hard to believe that he was a gross, tiny, squirming furball at some point in his life. All kittens in general just looked...ugly, and gross. He probably would've asked his own mother to squish him at birth.Silverstar 03:00, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Sorrelstar gazed down at the other three she hadn't named. The chocolate tortoiseshell she had named Sycamorekit, the brown tabby had been named Morningkit for his golden pelt. Last but not least the tortoiseshell tabby had been named Dapplekit. With this done Sorrelstar fell into a rather deep sleep. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 03:16, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Blindly and deafly heaving herself over to her dam, Dapplekit pressed closely against Sorrelstar's fur, desperate for warmth and motherly comfort. Her pelt seemed to almost summarize AutumnClan's place of residence itself, for her fur was pale in color, patched with muted oranges and dull browns.Silverstar 03:47, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Sorrelstar smiled as she felt her kittens press closer, Dapplekit especially. She lifted her head at the sound of the medicine cat. Rooknose dipped her tabby head. "Sorrelstar," the molly greeted her leader. "How are they?"
"Quiet, mostly." She said, there was one kitten that seemed to scream. Swiftkit. A whiny thing. The long-furred kitten, his fur was mesmerizing in a way. The tiny kitten pooped his head up before letting out a mournful whine. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 04:39, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Outside of camp, Aspenflower stalked a robin. Her tail balanced with her body to the ground. The tabby and white deputy casting her copper eyes towards the bird again. She took this as her chance, leaping forward she snagged the bird in her pale claws with a grin she jumped down from her perch in an old birch tree. The gray and white tabby then headed back to camp, all the while her thoughts on her leader. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 15:26, January 3, 2017 (UTC)
Otterdance busied himself with his unique pelt, rasping his tongue over it briskly before switching his attention to his belly-fur. Urgh, knots. With a firm tug, he freed his pale fur at long last, and let out a small sigh of relief.Silverstar 00:37, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
(Shall we start Blossombreeze's obsession? @whiskers) The tortoiseshell warrior had passed her assessment to join the Clan. Of course, Sorrelstar and Aspenflower weren't too keen on her. Except she had found a handsome tom that had caught her eye. Otterdance. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 00:42, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
(sure) Urgh- blast it all! Another damn knot in his fur...Otterdance was sick of getting his coat tangled in all of the undergrowth, he was almost longing for open plains, where he didn't have to worry much about getting his fur in knots. It wasn't long either, but somehow, those darn knots happened anyways.
Meanwhile, Dapplekit was stuggling to finally reveal her kitten-blue eyes. She was working on one, a single eye open at long last. But she was already growing exhuasted, and a nice cat-nap sounded enticing.Silverstar 00:49, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
Blossombreeze watches Otterdance a second more before she began to make her way to him. All the while she felt the wary glances of other Clan members. The tortoiseshell warrior greeting the AutumnClan tom oddly. "I could help you with that. My brother had thick fur and had a hard time getting his out. I helped quite a bit." She offered.
Aspenflower flicked her tabby tail as she enteres camp casting Cypressfur a nod and heading straight to Orchidsnow. Her long-time best friend and in a way a brother to her. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 12:24, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
With almost a disgusted expression, Otterdance leaned away from the newcomer. "Um, no thanks." Ew, he didn't like cats grooming his fur. He didn't like grooming theirs either; not even StarClan could know where those pelts had been!Silverstar 22:57, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
Blossombreeze shrugged. "Well you looked like you were having trouble." she replied. The tortoiseshell shrugged once more.
Dipperkit had finally managed to open her eyes, the last one to do so, and now she had been hanging more around Sycamorekit. One if her many sisters. Their mother - however - was distant. She - of ccourse - favored Dapplekit. Well she seemed too. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 02:13, January 5, 2017 (UTC)
Otterdance grunted, as if extremely protective of his previous coat. Defensively, he scooted away just a hair before returning to his grooming.---- Yawning, Dapplekit rolled onto her white belly, glancing around the nursery hopefully. Perhaps she could finally attempt to make a friend?Silverstar 02:20, January 5, 2017 (UTC)
Morningkit awoke from his nap. Before he had rested, his eyes had began to open, and now, to his amazement, they were! But there was one problem... he could feel them open, he blinked, rubbed his eyes, but still... everything was black, nothing. Exactly as it had been when his eyes were glued shut. But why? ~Patchfeather~ 04:15, January 5, 2017 (UTC)
Dapplekit's eyes settled on her brother, Morningkit, noticing that he seemed to be having some...er, issues. Were his eyes bothering him? Maybe she could help? "Excuse me, Morningkit," the dapper kitten began squeakily, "but are you ok? You're blinking your eyes a lot, maybe you have dust in them?"Silverstar 04:13, January 6, 2017 (UTC)
Morningkit did the first of many frowns yet to come. "I don't know..." he said, sounding puzzled. "They feel okay... but I can't see anything," he turned to her, on stubby, wobbily legs and planted his gaze on where her milky scent was coming from. "Do they look okay?" ~Patchfeather~ 04:22, January 6, 2017 (UTC)
The tabby leader watched her son for a minute. That was when she noticed his...sad misfortune. The babe was blind. What a shame. she thought. He could've been a good warrior. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 04:28, January 6, 2017 (UTC)
Dapplekit curiously peered into her brother's eyes, having to stretch a bit due to her great shortness. "I-I hate to say it, but they look...different?" Quickly, she tried to get his hopes up. "But being different is always good! I think your eyes look really neat, actually. Mine're boring."Silverstar 04:30, January 6, 2017 (UTC)
Morningkit's frowned deepened. "I want to see your boring eyes. But I can't. Am I dying?" he asked, raising his head to the roof of the den where he thought his mother might be. ~Patchfeather~ 04:35, January 6, 2017 (UTC)
Sorrelstar sighed, she supposed she could tell him why he couldn't see. "No. Much like my brother your blind. It seems to skip a few generations every now and then." she said inna monotone voice. (Ah the careless sorrel let her and dipper begin) I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 04:38, January 6, 2017 (UTC)
"'Blind?'" Morningkit echoed with a wince. "I'll never see?" he turned back to his sister with a pleading look, as if she could fix all of his problems. Does StarClan not like me? ~Patchfeather~ 04:44, January 6, 2017 (UTC)
Dapplekit wrapped her paws around the brown tabby tomkit, attempting to cling to him in a comforting manner. "No, you're not dying! StarClan just wanted to make you special, maybe you'll have really really good tracking skills? Everything happens for a reason!"Silverstar 04:44, January 6, 2017 (UTC)
"I love you too!" Morningkit said, still snuffling into his sisters fur. And at the sound of his sisters purr, he found himself doing the same and beginning to relax a little. "Will I be able to leave the den?" he asked, quietly.~Patchfeather~ 05:03, January 6, 2017 (UTC)
"Of course you'll be able to! I believe in you." The tortoiseshell tabby kitten let out a happy chirp, stepping back and waving her tail in a jolly manner. "I can always help you out of the nursery, then we can work togther to get you used to camp without seeing it!"Silverstar 05:06, January 6, 2017 (UTC)
Dipperkit had ventures out of the nursery a few times, not far really. Just to see Rooknose's den and talking to some of the older warriors. She also talked quite a bit with her uncle. Sorrelstar had practically disowned him for his blindness. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 20:05, January 6, 2017 (UTC)
Spottedflame lazed around until deciding to hunt. He spotted Bumblefern and padded over to her. He had always had a tiny crush on her, he had to admit, but he showed nothing when he was around her. "Hey, Bumblefern. Do you want to go hunting?" ~Patchfeather~ 23:55, January 6, 2017 (UTC)
"Of course we can! It'll be my first time out, too." Although she didn't like to admit it, Dapplekit had been too intimidated to get out of the nursery just yet, she had been waiting for someone else to escort her. But this was the perfect chance- she had some companionship now!Silverstar 01:16, January 7, 2017 (UTC)
Morningkit nodded awkwardly and wobbled to what he assumed was the entrance, where cold air was blowing in, then stopped, testing the area with his paw to see if there was anything he could trip on. Satisfied with his work, he shuffled out of the den, and was shocked to find how much colder it was out there, and he tried to find Dapplekit to share her warmth. ~Patchfeather~ 03:30, January 7, 2017 (UTC)
Dapplekit pranced around camp, her eyes darting to and fro as she searched for the first place that she and her blind brother would explore. Her eyes settled on the Medicine Cat Den. This would be a good start for him, no? It's powerful herb-scent would allow him to find it easily. "Let's start with the Medicine Cat den!"Silverstar 16:13, January 8, 2017 (UTC)
Morningkit followed Dapplekit, tripping every now and then. There were so many scents... his head started to spin. When Dapplekit mentioned the medicine den, he suddenly picked up a sweet, yet bitter and spciy scent coming from nearby. "Okay!" he said, making his way toward the scent. He must have smelled the scent before... ~Patchfeather~ 15:32, January 12, 2017 (UTC)
Rosepetal walked inside camp, carrying two fair sized voles. The ginger tabby flicked her ears towards the fresh-kill pile as she made her way towards it, keeping her eyes open for her apprentice. She needed to take him out later, Starlingpaw was like a little brother to her and quite frankly she wouldn't mind having a little brother. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 15:44, March 10, 2017 (UTC)
Dapplekit awkwardly sat around camp, occasionally trying to chase a mossball around. The gentle kitten periodically visited the nursery, waiting for her blind brother to awaken so she may guide him around once more.---- Otterdance was extremely happy that it was a sunny day, and no longer pouring down rain. He hated mud, and he hated getting wet. Fur was meant to be dry.Silverstar 17:38, March 11, 2017 (UTC)
