There was a slight chill in the air that dawn, when the sun slowly climbed the horizon, giving the meadows of SpringClan a lazy, dull glow. Lakestar slowly arose in his den, feeling uncomfortable for a reason he did not quite know. Probably that pesky chill drifting into his den...Brrr. It was the beginning of leaf-bare, and a bitter one at that. He pitied the elders, he knew their joints would be giving them agonizing pain, which would be keeping Honeydapple on her toes. He couldn't help but to let out the faintest amused purr at the thought of his sister, she made him feel warm. She was extremely dedicated to her duties, despite all of the family members they had lost. She was a real trooper.
The brightening sunlight now touched the tips of his white toes, and the new leader grunted quietly before heaving himself to his paws. He shocked himself with his sudden burst of energy: it had been last night that he had left his Clan to gain his nine lives. Even eager young Honeydapple was still sound asleep in her cozy nest after the long night of travel and excitement. Finally, her brother following in their sire's footsteps!
The blue tabby tom sauntered out of his den and blinking his green eyes to adjust to the light outside. Soundlessly, the leader pushed his way out of camp, tasting the air and letting out a relieved sigh. How he loved his home...he had no idea how WinterClan could bear the bleak mountains, or how AutumnClan could adore their dying forest. SpringClan was home to golden fields and bright flowers, it was a place of joy and warmth. Pelt now dew-soaked, Lakestar moved on, lowered to the ground in his hunting-crouch as his ears briskly flicked at he slightest sound. His Clan was called lazy and too friendly by the others...but they were unaware of how brave and undying loyal the members of SpringClan were. They were surprisingly fast on their paws as well.Silverstar 21:24, December 1, 2016 (UTC)
The Warriors' den, newly cleaned out and with barely any warriors, was empty. The dilute tortoiseshell and white warrior was sitting outside of the den watching the activity of the camp she had grown up in and cherished all too well had grown small. Dewclaw brushed her way out of camp into the cool, dull forest. The warrior watched a vole slip out of the underbrush it called home and crouched.
The warrior flattened her body to the ground and ears to her skull as she watched, almost expertly. The dilute warrior leapt out at it, her claws slicing through the chilly air. "Gotcha!" She grinned before picking the now motionless creature up and walking back to camp with her kill. Victorious and happy she could still provide for her Clan.
Shadestorm, sought out as a loyal and quiet warrior, walked along the border his gaze down. He had become quiet since the activity in camp had fallen quiet as well. A new scent alerted him and the SpringClan warrior surprisingly rose into action. "Who's there?" He called bracing himself. A tortoiseshell molly stepped out with icy blue eyes and happened to be none other than the SummerClan deputy, Waspwhisker. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 16:57, December 2, 2016 (UTC)
His diluted pelt now loosely clung to his sides after growing moist from the dew as it gently brushed against his sides, but Lakestar still pressed on. His pawsteps were inaudible, but still he listened intensely: he knew the dangers that lurked in the tall grass. Of course, one couldn't spot ticks, but they could always keep an eye out for an adder or fox. But thanks to the colder weather, adders were currently less of a threat.
He tasted the air: squirrel. This would be the perfect treat to bring home his golden sister...Moving slowly and carefully placing his paws to avoid any twigs or other noisy objectes, the leader gradually followed the tempting scent trail, his mouth watering as he did so. No, no, this was for his sister, not for himself...he'd have his breakfast at a later time, Honeydapple needed a good meal after the long night at the Moon Stone/Pool/Whatever.Silverstar 23:07, December 2, 2016 (UTC)
Dewclaw watched as Honeydapple dashed back and forth. The dilute warrior sniffed befre yawning tiredly. She had been tirelessly working for the past few days. meanwhile, Shadestorm had gone into a deep conversation with the SummerClan deputy. "Your new leader, how are - er?" he paused.
"He." She supplied for him helpfully with a sassy smirk. The tortoiseshell gave a harsh laugh before speaking again. "Beestar. He's pretty young, but I was lucky to be chosen as his deputy." She said revealing her true identity. Shadestorm's eyes widened.
"Your the deputy of SummerClan?" Holy StarClan.. he thought with both surprise and horror on his behalf. "Man, I would be praised my Clan if I chased you off and got a few battle scars in the process." The black tom said. Then his thoughts went to Rookflame. His twin brother, he had passed a while ago. Sadness filled the tom when his thoughts went to the brother he had been so close too.
"Aw, come on. It can't be that.." Shadestorm cut her off. "Its not that. I need to make my Clan proud for my brother. For Rookflame." He said before his eyes hardened. "Hey, now." She hissed growing angry. "I haven't really trespassed considering this is the border." She snapped. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 00:57, December 3, 2016 (UTC)
It wasn't long before the leader spotted the fluffy-tailed creature, rummaging through the remains of some acorn shells. It was the perfect time for Lakestar to strike, with the medium-sized rodent distracted with its hopeful breakfast. He pushed himself lower to the ground, belly-fur playfully brushing against the wet grass. He moved slowly, ever-so-slowly, creeping closer to the hungry squirrel. Claws unsheathed, he prepared himself, and then leaped forward.Silverstar 01:04, December 3, 2016 (UTC)
Waspwhisker watched the tom silently. "A brother? What happened to him?" She asked. Shadestorm went silent and ever so softly murmured something inaudible. Unheard through her ears. She sat down watching this tom, he had changed at the mention of his brother. They must have bee close.
"He died a few moons and that's all you need to know.." he said his emotions shutting her off, like he always did. He always shut someone out. He hated sharing his feelings, always did but when it came to Rookflame it was more personal. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 01:13, December 3, 2016 (UTC)
He had missed, and scowled bitterly under his breath, but that didn't stop Lakestar. He fiercely pursued the squirrel, tearing across the earth and pelting after the squirrel. It darted up the nearest tree, and the powerful leader swiftly followed, heart pounding in his chest as he moved.Silverstar 02:28, December 4, 2016 (UTC)
Shadestorm eyed Waspwhisker as she glanced about the territory the two Clans shared, part forest, part meadow. The SummerClan deputy shifted uncomfortably. "Well, I'm sorry for your loss." She said, the tortoiseshell molly felt to comfort the tom but she could tell he was hurting a lot from his brother's death. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 02:34, December 4, 2016 (UTC)
Spiderfeather returned from a hunt, his eyes were anxious and a little tired. He had been made a warrior about a moon ago, and he was constantly on his feet, cleaning the nests out, hunting, or patrolling. If he took a break he felt like his head would explode, or he was doing something terribly wrong. ~Patchfeather~ 02:38, December 4, 2016 (UTC)
Tanagerpaw sat in camp crossly, while Elkpaw nervously hung around her. He always stuck close to her sister, ever since he was picked on as a kit. The two were looking for their mentors: Lakestar was out hunting, while the Clan deputy...well, Goldpetal was acting odd.Silverstar 02:39, December 4, 2016 (UTC)
Spiderfeather dropped his prey on the fresh-kill pile, his whiskers twitching. Wow. I haven't been in my nest for like a whole day... Eh, i'm not tired, I'll do some more stuff. ~Patchfeather~ 02:49, December 4, 2016 (UTC)
Tanagerpaw glanced over at Elkpaw, huffing quietly. "I swear, if Goldpetal doesn't take us out soon, we'll never learn all we need to...Lakestar's promised to make us warriors within the moon!" She muttered, glancing around for the calico deputy.Silverstar 02:57, December 4, 2016 (UTC)
Shadestorm stared at Waspwhisker for a second longer before he rushed. "Well I have to go, Lakestar or someone will be wondering where I've gone off too." He said before turning heel and running to camp. The black tom sighed heavily as he walked into camp. The death of his family weighed on him a lot. Rookflame having died from head trauma, his parents from being killed by a fox. He wished very much that they were still here. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 03:24, December 4, 2016 (UTC)
Elkpaw shyly glanced at his boisterous sister, his ruddy head held low. "W-Well, can't we just go out if camp on our own, sis?" Tanagerpaw glanced at her ruddy littermate, quickly rolling her eyes. "No, we aren't allowed to, furball. Especially after all of that illness going around..."
Moving quickly, Lakestar raced after the squirrel after he chased it back down the tree, his legs moving swifter and swifter. Hot on the squirrel's fluffy tail, the leader's muscles tensed before he leaped forward. He landed squarely on the squirrel, killing it with a swift bite to the back of the neck.Silverstar 23:20, December 4, 2016 (UTC)
Spiderfeather had begun pacing around, trying to think of something to do, then overheard the apprentices. He turned toward them quickly, then ducked, giving his chest fur a few quick licks. He didn't want to seem... weird... "Oh, uh, hi, I just so happened to over hear you, I could take you out of camp, if you want." ~Patchfeather~ 03:19, December 7, 2016 (UTC)
Tanagerpaw's eyes immediatley brightened, and she was quick to jump to her little paws, her tail waving high. Meanwhile, Elkpaw nervously leaned away from the warrior, trying to make himself invisible as he hid behind his sister. Either way, he'd tag along. "Yeah, that'd be great, please take us!" Tanagerpaw rocked back and forth on her paws energetically.Silverstar 03:21, December 7, 2016 (UTC)
Tanagerpaw loped energetically after the warrior, while Elkpaw nervously shuffled behind his sister, who seemed to be his polar opposite. "We need to work on our hunting a bit more, so we can impress Lakestar." Tanagerpaw said quickly, her eyes gleaming as she thought of her myriad goals.Silverstar 00:04, December 9, 2016 (UTC)
"That works, then!" Tanagerpaw rocked on her paws enthusiastically, whiskers quivering as she did so. "One day, I'll be deputy, and then every one of my dreams will come true!"Silverstar 00:10, December 9, 2016 (UTC)
Despite the cool weather, Cavernpaw had managed to talk her father into taking her out to hunt. Just father and daughter. Her green gaze, identical to Sparrowpelt's, searched the forest for something - anything - to hunt. She felt his tail on her shoulder just then signaling for her to stop. She did so, giving him a quizzical look. he nodded and pointed his nose just ahead.
Not even five feet in front of her was the fattest bird she'd ever seen. "What is it?" She whispered, barely audible. Sparrowpelt turned his green gaze on the bird. Fat and unsuspecting bird hopped a few steps forward, opposite of the two cats. "That, my dear, is a ruffled grouse. They seldom fly, preferring to run or hop to their destination. I'd like you to catch it." He told her. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 15:18, December 12, 2016 (UTC)
Tanagerpaw nodded eagerly, loping after the warrior, while Elkpaw shuffled after his eager littermate, head bowed as he moved along. He occasionally glanced up anxiously, as if a fearsome predator would round around the corner at any moment, and take a nice bite out of his slender side.
Meanwhile, Lakestar mozied back to camp, his scruffy squirrel swinging in his jaws. He angled his battle-scarred ears towards the Medicine Cat den, optics searching for his golden sister. Perhaps she's still alseep?Silverstar 00:53, December 13, 2016 (UTC)
Cavernpaw flicked her ears towards the ruffled bird. Catch it? Sure! She shook her rump before getting into position. Her back legs placed carefully as well as the front. Her nose about a head off of the ground turned towards the bird, she checked the wind making sure it was blowing away from the bird's scent towards her. It was. With everything set she crept forward, the bird still hopping about happily. Once she was about a foot away it noticed her. It took off and she did the same. Her long legs racing, no striving, to catch this bird. With a mighty leap and a quick pop to its neck the bird stilled. She turned to face Sparrowpelt, who came running up to her a proud grin on his face. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 04:44, December 13, 2016 (UTC)
Or she could always still be mourning... The leader, too, was continuing to mourn over the recent death of his dear parents. Honeydapple had taken in just as hard as Lakestar had, although she actually showed it. She'd occasionally skip meals, or refuse to talk to anyone. Of course, she'd continue with her dire duty, Medicine Cat duties were something that couldn't be put off.Silverstar 21:11, December 13, 2016 (UTC)
Spiderfeather padded along then stopped, scenting birds - robins - nearby. He looked over his head at the tree that towered over head, spotting a nest. He gave the two apprentices a sidelong glance. "How about this?" ~Patchfeather~ 23:37, December 13, 2016 (UTC)
Elkpaw let out a soft squeak of terror as he glanced up at the tree, quickly hiding himself behind his doughty sister. That tree was big! Tanagerpaw, on the other hand, glanced back at her littermate with a quick twitch of her whiskers in amusement. "C'mon, Squirrelpaw, I know how well you can climb trees."Silverstar 01:19, December 14, 2016 (UTC)
Toadpaw sighed as thoughts rushed through his head. The gray-brown tabby lashed his thick tail before he began to once more slice at the ground with his claws. He had grown angry and confused after listening to his parents argue. It seemed his father had cheated on his mother years ago, just before him and Skipperpaw were born. Not really something anyone wanted to wake up too.. He thought.
Spiderfeather climbed up the tree quickly and quietly, then stalked the bird. He was almost on top of it. He sprang, not noticing how thin the branch was where the bird perched. The bird let out a screech of alarm and flew away, then Spiderfeather crashed into where it had been, the branch bowed under his weight and he slid off it, crashing to the ground with a soft thud. ~Patchfeather~ 15:52, December 15, 2016 (UTC)
Elkpaw let out a squeak of terror, frozen on the spot as soon as he saw the warrior slip and crash to the ground. Tangerpaw, on the other paw, rushed forward, glancing down at the fallen warrior in shock. "S-Spiderfeather! Are you alright?"
Meanwhile, Lakestar continued to search camp for Honeydapple, only to be distracted...or, rather, held captive. His younger sister pounced on him, clinging to his back legs and attempting to knock her leader off her paws. "Galepaw, what're you doing?" The blue tabby glanced back at the pretty tortoiseshell in pure confusion, while she grinned in embarrassment. "T-Trying to knock you over...but failing. Have you seen Raptorpaw?" She asked, longing to know the whereabouts of her humorous brother.Silverstar 21:08, December 15, 2016 (UTC)
Spiderfeather lifted his head, letting out a grunt when he felt pain shoot all over. He managed to stagger to his paws. His head spun, but it went away after standing there for a moment breathing deeply. He nodded. "Y-yeah. That's... just a lession on what not to do while hunting in trees. I went on a branch that was too thin to carry my weight, and then you saw the result..." he said, hoping just a little that it would seem like he did that on purpose. He also felt bad for making Elkpaw look so... terrified... ~Patchfeather~ 02:02, December 16, 2016 (UTC)
The little ruddy tom continued to stare in shock, while Tanagerpaw let out a soft snort of amusement. "Sure looked like a lesson you had in plan," she stated sarcastically, glancing back at her frozen brother before waving a single colorful paw at him. "It's ok, Elkpaw, he's not dead."
Lakestar glanced down at his sister, who seemed to suddenly realize that her brother was an authoritive leader now, and could no longer act like a playful and immature warrior. "I-I..." Galepaw trailed off, unsure of what to say, while the leader nodded towards the warrior's den. "Either Raptorpaw's in there trying to tick off Fallensnow, or he already did, so either way...Fallensnow probably knows where he is."Silverstar 04:50, December 16, 2016 (UTC)
Spiderfeather shook off some twigs and leaf bits from his short pelt. "Okay... why don't you try? The birds will probably come onto the ground to peck up seeds... but you can climb the tree if you want to hunt in it... just... don't fall out."
Outside of camp, Lavenderpaw sat in a thicket of bracken, picking the petals of a half dead daisy and watching them fall to the ground. She liked to remain hidden and pick apart flowers, because it was amazing to her, but she never realized she was only half hidden - half of her body was sticking out of the bracken. ~Patchfeather~ 14:24, December 16, 2016 (UTC)
Elkpaw shifted nervously, unsure if he wanted to climb a tree and fall out. He wasn't very interested in snapping his neck...Tanagerpaw, meanwhile, boucned on her paws once more, as if that terrible sight had never happened. "I'll show you both how to climb a tree!"Silverstar 18:01, December 16, 2016 (UTC)
Tanagerpaw moved along the ground, glancing up at the lengthy trees and squinting her pale eyes, attempting to sight another bird nest. Eventually, she spotted a small one, and started up the base of the tree, grinning as if already triumphic.Silverstar 21:51, December 17, 2016 (UTC)
Spiderfeather silently watched Tanagerpaw, his heart pounding in his throat. ---- Lavenderpaw began to back out of the bush she crouched in, then let out a whine when he pelt got stabbed by something tiny and sharp. She realized she had been hiding within a clump of brambles - not bracken. I'm stuck! ~Patchfeather~ 18:27, December 18, 2016 (UTC)
Elkpaw swallowed, watching his sister grow smaller and smaller, terror round in his pale eyes. He didn't budge an inch- he was frozen on the spot once more. Meanwhile, Tanagerpaw approached the branch that held the bird nest firmly in place. Cautiously, she slithered onto the branch, relying on her tail to keep her balance as she silently stalked along.Silverstar 18:43, December 18, 2016 (UTC)
Spiderfeather watched, claws gripping the ground beneath his paws. ---- Rainkit nosed through the fresh-kill pile. Clearkit, his best friend was sick. Sick. She had a cold. A cold. This was horrible! All she did was sleep. Was that normal? But whatever! He was going to find her the best piece of prey on the prey pile. Then she'd be all better! ~Patchfeather~ 22:50, December 18, 2016 (UTC)
...Eggs. That was it, just eggs! Tanagerpaw huffed bitterly, but carefully plucked the blue robin eyes from their comfortable twig home, before she cautiously made her way back down the tree.---- Meanwhile, Fisherkit held herself tall, the intelligent kit observing her Clan through narrowed eyes. Three leaders...she had been stuck as a kit, watching three different leaders rise and fall. It was a terrible life to live.Silverstar 22:54, December 18, 2016 (UTC)
"Shadowkit! Shadowkit!" The squeaky voice of Duskkit reached the Snowshoe tom's ears as he rolled onto his stomach. His oddly twin-like sister was poking and prodding her brother with wide blue eyes. "Come on, we've got to mingle." She said. Unlike his sister, Shadowkit wasn't so eager to "mingle", in her words. Fisherkit, one of the other kits was a little pushy and all. He wasn't really her biggest fan. Duskkit on the the other hand, just liked talking with others and causing trouble. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 23:04, December 18, 2016 (UTC)
After choosing a plump mouse, Rainkit padded back into the nursery, holding his prize with a prideful look. "Here, Clearkit. Eat it then we can play," he said, nudging it to her. Clearkit rolled her eyes but obeyed, and ate as much as she could, at least half, then Rainkit decided they'd give the rest to the elders when they went out. "You ready?" ~Patchfeather~ 23:16, December 18, 2016 (UTC)
The intelligent black tabby swerved away from the nursery, uninterested in the dull, squeaky babble of young kits. Fisherkit was above them: she knew more than the entire clan combined. She was truthfully older than all of them as well, forever trapped in the body of an athletic kit.Silverstar 23:24, December 18, 2016 (UTC)
The quiet Snowshoe kitten watched as the others played with their littermates and the black tabby pranced about. He really didn't know why she was so confident. Sometimes it was a curse to be smart. Shaking this off, Shadowkit yawned and stepped forward right as Duskkit barreled her tiny body into him, sending him tumbling backwards right to Clearkit and Rainkit. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 02:24, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Clearkit let out a squeak of alarm, while Rainkit threw himself in front of his friend and bared his teeth in a tiny snarl. "Hey! You almost crushed Clearkit!" he growled, although he tried to look angry, there was a playful bubble in his voice and glint in his eyes. ~Patchfeather~ 02:28, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
I need to get out of this pathetic "deal" my mother forced upon me...I cannot bear being trapped in this nursery and kit body for much longer. Fisherkit pushed her way into the Elder's den, gazing searching for one of those wise seniors...but they were all asleep, typical. Silently scowling in defeat, she retreated from the nursery and seeked out someone else intelligent.Silverstar 02:32, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Shadowkit stared at them for a minute before he turned on Duskkit with a raging hiss. His blue eyes turning an icy-gray color. He was panting now, full of anger. "Will you just stop for five seconds," he yelled at her. Anger bubbling in his chest as it spilled over. The tiny Snowshoe's blue eyes widened in hurt.
Shadowkit watched as she ran off knowing he hadn't meant to yell. "I-" he glanced at Rainkit and Clearkit before scowling at the two an running off in the opposite direction. The Snowshoe kitten felt tears filling his eyes. He hated this life, he hated this Clan. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 03:28, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Fisherkit eyed her clanmates, spotting the (horrible) clan deputy. She was aware that Lakestar appointed her as deputy out of pity and desperation, seeing that he had little to not time to choose a deputy. That, and he didn't exactly have the 'pick of the litter', seeing that over half of the Clan had been destroyed by that terrible illness. Of course, Fisherkit hadn't been harmed... She watched as Goldpetal sunned herself, and made a mental note that she'd pop soon. Fisherkit was one of the few who could detect that the fluffy she-cat was pregnant, due to the fact that she'd spent so many moons around fiesty pregnant cats.
More runts to attempt to over-run the nursery...StarClan, spare me... She imagined that they'd be just as horrible as their dam, for Goldpetal never raised her offspring properly. In fact, she never seemed to have an ounce of care for them. Her kits never had any honor, and acted like terrible attention-hungry monsters. Then, of course, they'd die of starvation or get swept away by a hawk, since Goldpetal never watched them. Then I guess her mannerless kits will take care of themselves in the end...as in die, of course. Not that I'm heartless, it isn't completely their fault.Silverstar 03:36, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Rainkit snorted at the kits then turned back to Clearkit. "Over dramatic," Clearkit said, looking slightly upset. She felt bad for Duskkit, she had just wanted to play, and then she got yelled at for it. ~Patchfeather~ 04:23, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Shadowkit had attempted to find Duskkit, but she had somehow hidden away to cry. The Snowshoe tom felt horrible about his words and loud voice. The tom hung his head before he squeezed into his little hole he always hid in when upset or just always hid in from the taunting words.
Duskkit, meanwhile, had run away from her upset brother in a rush. She knew he didn't mean those words especially when it was both of them that got made fun of for their mysterious past. Eventually the Clan would find out who their parent were. AutumnClan cats. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 04:36, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Galepaw, unable to find Fallensnow nor Raptorpaw, glanced around boredly and in a gloomy manner. Rats! Now how would she gave fun? Lakestar was too busy to play, and Honeydapple would make her eat gross things.Silverstar 04:39, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Shadowkit curled up tightly, his tail wrapping around his creamy paws. The tom lay his narrow head on his delicate paws and gazed through the small gap he had crawled in to watch the outside world. Maybe he could just stay in here forever? Was it such a big deal to become a warrior? He thought before sighing.
Duskkit gazed around, her blue gaze landing on Galepaw. She looked bored so maybe she could play or something. "Oooh," she cooed. The Snowshoe she-kit raced up to Galepaw. "You looked bored, could you teach me something? Battle moves, maybe?" She gushed, before too long she had gotten ahead of herself and started to name off random things. "Or we could explore, or just talk, or play, or.." she paused to breath. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 04:49, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Galepaw blinked down at the kitten, and let out a soft sigh. "How about a game? It's called: find Raptorpaw in SpringClan camp." What if he was dead? What if Lakestar exiled him? Surely he wouldn't do that to his very own flesh and blood? Yeah, he wouldn't, Raptorpaw was...not very innocent, but not all that bad.
All the meanwhile, the dark gray tabby apprentice watched his littermate from within Lakestar's den, since the leader had left for the Gathering. Dear StarClan, Galepaw...how do you even hunt mice? You can't even find me!Silverstar 04:56, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
"Ooh a treasure hunt!" She exclaimed as she looked around searching for the apprentice's tabby pelt. "Maybe he's not in camp?" She commented. The Snowshoe kitten cast the nursery a weird look. "My brother's lost too..he got upset." She muttered to herself. "Mostly on my part." I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 05:02, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
A small frown fell upon Galepaw's face. "Maybe he is, maybe he isn't, I'm not sure. He's probably pulling my tail again...typical Raptorpaw." She let out a small huff, but appeared to immediately brighten back up. "But I love him to death, even if he's Mr. Perfect-at-everything. Typical show-off tom."
Continuing to be amused, Raptorpaw eyed his sister from Lakestar's den, mentally snorting. Drama-queen. He thought to himself before rolling onto his back, his eyes remaining glued to his pale tortoiseshell littermate. Maybe I should tell Honeydapple that our sister's terribly ill...so she'll stuff her full of smelly herbs. That'll be hilarious.Silverstar 05:06, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Duskkit sighed, she darted between he bushes searching for the tom. She caught a tabby pelt in Lakestar's den. Was that Raptorpaw?
Galepaw continued to sit there, oblivious to her brother as he slowly stalked up on her, every pawstep inaudible. With a might heave, he then tackled her, causing the pretty tortoiseshell to squeal in surprise as she face-planted into the earth. Raptorpaw lay on his littermate like a lazy lion, releasing a small yawn. "Honestly, Galepaw, how do you survive out in the wilderness?"Silverstar 05:14, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Clearkit saw Duskkit, who seemed busy. "Well, Duskkit's okay now. We need to find Shadowkit now!" she said, puffing up her chest and scenting the air for the snowshoe tom while Rainkit followed, his usually stupid grin on his face. ~Patchfeather~ 05:37, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Duskkit watched this then began to wander off in search of her brother. She knew she needed to speak with him and knew how he was with his outbursts. He always felt horrid about it and he didn't need too. The Snowshoe kitten ducked behind bushes, searching. With no luck she retired from this and went back to the nursery to sleep.
Shadowkit watched Duskkit look for him, but he wasn't ready yet. Not until later, not until his thoughts were empty. Right now they were on his parents. What if Lakestar or Honeydapple received a sign about his parents? I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 21:51, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
"I can't smell him," Rainkit complained, scuffing the ground with his paw. In fact I can't smell anything... "Your nose sucks, Rainkit. Let me do the work," Clearkit huffed, whipping her rabbit-like tail around proudly. She inhaled and scented a million cats, but could pick out Shadowkit's. ~Patchfeather~ 22:35, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
Goldpetal shifted from her sunning spot, rolling onto her slightly round side. She had skipped the Gathering, informing Lakestar that her legs were giving her too much trouble to travel such a far distance. In truth, she was too close to her due date to even think of risking such a travel. Fisherkit passed by the terrible deputy with a silent scoff, making her way into Honeydapple's den. She admired the young Medicine Cat for her hard work, so she decided that she'd secretly organize the place while the Medicine Cat was at the Gathering. If any other kits attempted to follow her, she'd beat them senseless.
"Raptorpaw, you're crushing me!" Galepaw let out a muffled squeak from underneath her brother, squirming in attempts to free herself from his grasp. Grinning, the dark tabby tom stretched out before glancing down at his littermate. "Hey, Galepaw...what if I drooled on your head?"Silverstar 23:07, December 20, 2016 (UTC)
After almost a full two hours of these thoughts of his secret getting out, Shadowkit squeezed from his hiding place a trotted into the nursery. Duskkit was sleeping in their nest. The Snowshoe tom decided to join his sister. He curled up beside her and was pretty soon in a deep sleep. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 02:44, December 21, 2016 (UTC)
The tortoiseshell let out a large gasp, struggling out from underneath Raptorpaw at long last. "Y-You wouldn't dare drool on me! I don't know where that mouth of yours has been, with all of those weird things you're dared to eat!" Galepaw protested, cowering away from her littermate as he leaned on her with a cheerful grin. "Oh, please, Galepaw!"
Fisherkit finally finished organizing Honeydapple's den, hoping to appease her deceased mother. Perhaps Nox would finally quit this act, and relinquish her tough grasp over the black tabby's eternal youth? She wished to grow old and wise like the sharp elders, or heck, at least grow to the size of a normal cat. Being trapped in the body of a kitten was everything but fun.Silverstar 02:55, December 21, 2016 (UTC)
Shadestorm walked into camp, his thoughts on his deceased brother. Rookflame. The two had been very close but now they were very far away. Sure Rookflame was always in his brother's heart, but he wasn't here. Sighing he decided it'd be about time to take Galepaw out.
Sparrowpelt arrived back to camp with Mintnose. "I'll see you later this evening. I need to take that troublesome apprentice of mine out for battle training." The pale tabby molly nodded before retiring to the warriors' den. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 02:59, December 21, 2016 (UTC)
"I don't know who can be more of a fool: you, or Fallensnow." Galepaw let out a soft snort, rasping her tongue over her pale chest fur, while Raptorpaw rolled his eyes. "Hah, easy!" He spoke loudly, and a disturbed Fallensnow slowly approached his two younger siblings from behind, having quite the bed-head from a rough nap. "Fallensnow is definitely a bigger idiot than I am!" Raptorpaw stated his words with a wide grin, while Galepaw glanced up nervously, cringing at Fallensnow.
"Just saying that in front of me makes you a bigger idiot." The cream warrior gritted his teeth, coldly glowering down at his younger brother, who quickly swallowed.Silverstar 03:05, December 21, 2016 (UTC)
Sparrowpelt padded towards his apprentice looking rather tired. "Shall we head out for training? We'll be focusing on battle training."
Mintnose had immediately gone to sleep once in her nest. Shadowkit and Duskkit were curled together. Both past the fiasco from earlier. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 04:17, December 26, 2016 (UTC)
After realizing Shadowkit had probably went back to the nursery, Rainkit called in a quits and went to his own nest, curling up and passing out within a minute. Clearkit followed him, looking a little flustered as she curled up next to him. Her gaze drifted over to the two Snowshoe kittens. I want to be their friend. Can I be their friend? I want to be. They seem interesting, and Shadowkit seems a little weird, but I still want to be his friend. She thought to herself. ~Patchfeather~ 14:54, December 26, 2016 (UTC)
Clearkit took her chance and shuffled over to Shadowkit - well, closer at least. And she did her best to not seem weird... "Hi, Shadowkit. I don't know if you know my name, but it's Clearkit. It's nice to meet you," she said, trying to seem as calm and kind as she could. ~Patchfeather~ 21:24, December 26, 2016 (UTC)
Shadowkit couldn't help but feel very irritated that his peaceful and worried thoughts were interrupted by this kitten. Sure he was one too but he was the son of the great Nicholai. A founder of one of the Clans. Shadowkit then was filled with horrir at his horrid thoughts. Something dark had twisted them. He sniffed slightly barely saying any words.
"Why are you sad?" Clearkit asked, with a frown. She hoped she didn't appear too nosy, but she knew that it helped to talk about it, at least with most cats. ~Patchfeather~ 16:51, December 27, 2016 (UTC)
Shadowkit let out a low growl. All these nosy cats were really getting on his last nerve. "I'm not sad, I'm very, very irritated at those who keep interrupting my thoughts. All I want is to be left alone, okay? Can you do that?" he finally snapped. Duskkit woke at her brother's raging voice. That usually happened.
"Um Clearkit why don't you come over here?" She called, she knew the kitten must be hurt by Shadowkit's harah words and honestly he did get mean sometimes. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 06:20, December 28, 2016 (UTC)
Clearkit's expression didn't change when Shadowkit snapped, and she slowly ripped her gaze away and took a few steps toward Duskkit. "I want to be Shadowkit's friend," she said, quietly. ~Patchfeather~ 15:40, December 28, 2016 (UTC)
Duskkit stared at her. "Good luck, I'm about the only person he wants to be friends with. He isn't really a people person." She told the tabby and white kitten. "Just give him some time and don't press about anything personal. It upsets him." I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 04:09, December 29, 2016 (UTC)
"He's doesn't really talk." She told the tabby and white cat. "He's the silent type. Just give him time and he'll open up." Duskkit responded. I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 08:13, December 29, 2016 (UTC)
The dark gray apprentice nervously glanced up at Fallensnow as he turned slowly, an anxious chuckle emitting from his throat. "O-Oh, I didn't see you there, Fallensnow..." Letting out a mental sigh of relief, Raptorpaw swiftly turned to his scapegoat, who also happened to be his mentor. "Oh yes, let's go do training-things!"
Fisherkit promptly seated herself after finally plucking out a piece of suitable prey, which so happened to be a small robin. Not too much, and not too little. She was thankful that her aging had stopped at the point where she could eat prey, she definitely wouldn't be interested on stuffing her face with milk for her entire life. That'd make her feel weak: no, she enjoyed munching on solid prey like a true adult....despite being stuck in the form of a kitten.Silverstar 19:05, December 29, 2016 (UTC)
Duskkit shrugged. "Sure. Why not?" She replied. The Snowshoe sniffed and began to speak once more. "Besides I have this idea for tomorrow to do and Shadowkit won't do it." I solemnly swearthat I am up to no good 01:08, December 30, 2016 (UTC)
