Sunstar is a tall, beautiful pure golden she-cat with tabby stripes and green eyes. She was a leader of SummerClan in the past, and mate to Eclipseblaze.  She had a single daughter named Sparkingflame, who had two kits of her own at a very old age. Sunstar now resides in StarClan watching over her Clan.  She is the daughter of Lionstar and Brilliantflame, and is the half-sister to Bloodpaw, Brutalpaw, and Petalseed.

Sunstar is said to be a very sassy she-cat, and also said to be lazy even though she is/was leader of SummerClan. Sunstar always fights back, no matter how harsh the consequences.  Though she is lazy, Sunstar does enjoy to take strolls and hunt, but at her own pace. She prefers not to do leader duties, but will when she feels like she needs to.  Sunstar isn't the best hunter, but is brutal when battling, ecspecially for a reason.  She is known to be very brave, yet elegant at the same time, and also known for her neat and pretty pelt.

Description

Appearance

Sunstar's pelt is very well-kept, and thin and short, making the poor she-cat freeze in the winter. Her pelt is a brilliant golden color, with a tint of ginger to it.  On her golden pelt, she has darker mackeral tabby stripes, that occasionally turn into flecks.  Sunstar doesn't have a fleck of white on her golden pelt. Her pelt is always well-kept, and is always free of fleas and ticks. Sunstar's pelt gives off a radiant glow, and always shines bright in the sunlight. Her pelt is soft to the touch, and she never has a tuft of fur sticking up on her perfect pelt.  The fur on Sunstar's head is denser and a tad bit longer, making her head look a bit bigger than it really is, but this never seems to be noticable. Obviously, Sunstar's pelt is her namesake, and her beautiful looks.

Sunstar's skull is a medium size and finely shaped, being narrow and delicate. Her muzzle is larger, and her whiskers are white, and always cleaned after a meal or battle.  Her bone-structure has an average strength and thickness to it, but her tail's bone structure seems to be a bit stronger and longer.  Her pink nose stand out on her face, like her green eyes. Sunstar's eyes often stand out from her face, and are clear, indicating that she isn't blind.  Her eyes are a brilliant, bright green, like the color of healthy Summer grass.  Sunstar's ears are an average size, but she has a V-shaped cut in the side of her left ear, which is often how cats identify her from a crowd. She recived this cut from Foxfang at a young age, and it has stuck with her throughout her life, reminding the former leader of the cruel she-cat. Sunstar's massive paws have soft pink paw-pads beneath them, which are often easily cut on sharp rocks.  Sunstar's a thin she-cat with a good "shape", so to speak, but her legs are long and a bit muscular, and are certainly strong.  She is surprisingly strong during battle, though she doesn't battle often.  Sunstar's skin is a pale pink color, and is practically scarless, much like her pelt.  The former leader tends to stand with her legs close together, and her head and tail held high, not daring to get a grain of dust on her pelt.  Her posture is always perfect, making her look elegant and pretty. Overall, Sunstar is a beautiful cat, both in pelt and looks.

Sunstar's claws are small, but fairly sharp, and don't tend to break easy. Her teeth are a white-yellow, but very sharp, making them a deadly weapon.  Sunstar's pounces and blows are powerful and surprisingly strong, often sending cats into shock because they expect her to be weak. Coming Soon

Personality

Sunstar is a very sassy she-cat, who often gets her way.  In arguments, her retorts are sharp and cruel, and often leave cats in total shock and silence.  She's often first to jump into an argument, and is usually the one who wins.  Sunstar always talks back, and never backs down from a fight. Cats often have to stop her from arguing, because she'll drag it on and on.

Though she is/was a leader, Sunstar is a fairly lazy cat. She let her deputy do all the work, and when she was in trouble, she just used her looks.  Sunstar rarely hunted, and when she did, she never caught the most prey.  She does enjoy getting out and about, but prefers to lay around and talk. Most of the time, when she lazed around in her den, she groomed her pelt to impress Eclipseblaze.

Backstory

Sunkit is born to Brilliantflame and Lionstar. Missingtail -the deputy who is in love with Brilliantflame- tries to visit, but Lionstar keeps the tom away. Coming Soon

Roleplay

She really makes very few appearances. She makes several random appearances, such as exiting her den. Really, she is an extremely minor character and has hardly ever appeared.

She lost the last of her nine lives because a dog killed her in the same attack in which Silverflower, Rainface, and Luckshine were killed, and she is now a StarClan cat.

She gave Rowanstar a life for loyalty.

She also gave Thunderstar a life. She gave him a life for endurance.

Love Interests

Eclipseblaze - At first, Sunstar had a strong hate for Eclipseblaze who was forced to be with her due to their parents wanting a specific lineage. The two often fought, but no matter what, they had to be together.  After growing up into a beautiful she-cat, she fell in love with Eclipseblaze, and he loved her. Now, she sticks by his side in StarClan, caring for him more than ever. Sunstar has a strong bond with her mate, and nothing could break the two up.

Sparkingflame - At first, Sunstar loved her daughter to bits like any other cat would. But when Sunstar watched her daughter from StarClan, and how she treated her non-ginger/gold daughter, Sunstar gained a great dislike for her daughter.  She consideres her daughter a disgrace to the family for treating her daughter so horribly.

Burningpaw - Though Sunstar's not supposed to like the white she-cat, Sunstar has confidence in her granddaughter.  She respects her ways, but hopes that one day Burningpaw will stand up to Sparkingflame, so her brother doesn't have to do it.  Sunstar expects great things from her bullied daughter, and constantly watches over her.

Flaringpaw - Sunstar is amused by her Grandson, ecscpecially amused by his vainness. She finds him quite a character, and loves how he defends his sister from his mother.  Sunstar has high respect for Flaringpaw, because of his good qualities and large heart, even though he seems full of himself.

• Desendants of Sunstar are very hard to find, because her family is so picky.
• Through SummerClan leadership, there has been a pattern of she-cat, Tom, she-cat, Tom.  But this has ended at Magpiestar, for he was leader after the Tom, Cricketstar.
